Personal note "While wandering through Windsor Forest, I noticed a mighty English oak that had fallen. I observed the tree carefully and found it beautiful. I decided to honour it by turning it into an Earth Painting, unsure if the experiment would succeed. I covered the wood with handmade mulberry paper and natural glue, then applied layers of terra rossa soil and metamorphic rocks from Italy, intentionally sourced during our trip last May '24 to the Parco Naturale Regionale delle Alpi Apuani."
